Hello OHIMA Members!!!
I am thrilled and honored to be serving all HIM professionals across the state of Ohio as President of OHIMA! In June, the OHIMA Board of Directors were already hard at work preparing for another exciting and educational year for its members. The theme of the 2023 Annual Conference is HIM Without Limits and will feature a space theme! It will be an in-person only event at the Hilton Easton which I’m sure many are looking forward to after so many years of virtual education.
The Ohio Salary Survey just came back. Internal review is underway now and it will
be shared with our members in the coming weeks.
We’ve also renamed
our OHIMA blog to the OHIMA Exclusive.
I encourage you to bookmark this blog and check back often as there’s a
plethora of good articles and information coming through all the time.

Our last piece of exciting news is that OHIMA was named a 2022 Medigy HITMC Award Winner in the Virtual Event of the Year category. What an honor! At our 2021 conference, we served over 1200 HIM professionals across the country and provided over 15,000 hours of education to our membership and did it all virtually. Many thanks to the Board and Staff who made this event (and this award) possible!
